The Alfa Romeo GTA is a sports car manufactured by Alfa Romeo Automobiles in between the years 1965-1971.
The GTA is the predecessor of Giulietta and it was first named as Series 105 and later it was considered as GTA. It consists of aluminum panels, plastic windows, unique door handles, and interior trim of less weight and window mechanisms. It consists of a 1.6 L Straight-4 engine that delivers an output power of 105 hp and in the racing versions it delivers 168 hp.
GTA 1300 Junior
The GTA 1300 Junior was launched in the year 1968 and its production continued up to 1972. It is a two door car that consisted of a 1.3 L Straight-4 engine with a capacity of 1300 cc that delivered an output power of 108 hp whereas the racing cars delivered 165 hp. A total of 450 units have been manufactured where the common features in all the units are the plastic windows, alloy wheels and magnesium engine components. It consisted of 5-speed gearbox with disc brakes on all the wheels.
GTAm
The GTAm was manufactured in between 1970-1971. It is a two door car that consists of a 2.0 L Straight-4 engine with a capacity of 1779 cc that delivers an output power of 237 hp. It consisted of 5-speed gearbox with disc brakes on all the wheels.
GTA-SA
The GTA-Sa is a racing car manufactured in between the years 1697-1968. A total of 10 units were manufactured in this model which consisted of an 1.6 L straight-4 supercharged engine that delivered an output power of 247 hp at 7500 rpm. It consisted of 5-speed gearbox with disc brakes on all the wheels. The GTA-SA also stood in the first place at the Hockenheim 100 Mile Race in the year 1967.
All these three models were successful and victorious at a number of races.
